you could probly get TWO 512k lines (each with its own 30gig isp acc) a month for the same price as that 10 gig wireless crap.

how the #(&^$# is this cheaper, are they just blatently targeting stupid ppl for there amusement? if you know any 1 thinking of getting this, hit them over the head with a bat

Now - 30 GB = 30 000 MB (About)
At one rand a megabyte, you have to pay R 30 000 for what you can get from ADSL for R 1200.

Extract from the "Sentech User Manual" :-

A Portable Internet Device :

A Portable Internet Device is a small card that hooks into your laptop with a plastic antenna on it. This plastic antenna receives signals from a transmitter if :-

a. You move your laptop around the room and into the corner, behind a cupboard under the stairs and/or the most uncomfortable place in your house to operate a laptop.
b. You are incredibly lucky
c. You drive around the suburbs in your area aimlessly until you see lights flashing.

Please note, your portability may vary.

Some users find that strapping a 6m pole to their laptop and placing a Cantenna device on top of it improves reception.

Please note, most coffee shops/airports will not allow you into their premises with a 6m pole.

If you are going to a meeting with your laptop, we suggest you phone ahead to ask if it's ok if you bring your 6m pole along, complete with cantenna about 2 hours early, so you can make sure you'll get a connection.
