anyone using this? Comments? feedback?

I have the 256k option in our kzn (umhlanga ridge) store. unfortunately Telkom's exchange is fibre cabled and cant or wont put adsl for me - applied about 5 times last year.

Anyone know much about their Biznet service?
 
Value for money, the 256k tops all.
Biznet is not currently available outside Guateng.
 
I second what ProAsm says. You will probably get about 50% more speed for 100% more money so unless you really need the speed or you really need a bigger cap, I would not upgrade. Biznet will not be available for at least 3 months still and furthermore, the prices will only be marginally lower than Diginet from what I understand. So it will have the advantages of being quick(er) to deploy and will have SLA's etc but price wise it might still work out quite expensive. Have you looked at IBurst? The coverage map for the Umhlanga tower can be found at http://www.iburst.co.za/rolloutpics/laluciaumhlanga.html but as you can see, the coverage from this tower isn't amazing unless you are out to sea! IBurst is FAST if the coverage is good. If the coverage is moderate to poor you can expect 300 to around 50kbps.

Just for info's sake.
I am currently installing an additional 50% more bandwidth for Durbs and the Biznet Dbn/Jhb links are going in - eta approx mid march.
