Sentech Outage

While I realise most Sentech users won't be able to see this I thought I'd make the posting anyway - since the Sentech helpdesk as always has NO idea.

The reason for the current international outage and struggling DNS on the MyWireless network is a 45mbit outage at IS.

One would have hoped more peering would come online or at the very least the Call Centre was kept in the loop...

Little surprises me when it comes to Sentech....
 
For a good laugh, I'll post a conversation I had with Helpdesk at 20h05.
Andrew : Yo've reached sentech support....... blah .... blah speaking to Andrew
Dorris : Whats wrong now, I can't get any international!
Andrew : ummm, who may i say is calling?
Dorris : Dorris
Andrew : We have problems ... on our international circuits.
Dorris : ahh, so thats why I have no international, Is it your upstream providers problems or your links to them?
Andrew : Yes.

at this point I realised I was not getting any further, so left him alone.
Another great example of Sentech nonsupport!

Never suggest an answer to your own problem. It just gives the person who's supposed to give you the right answer an easy way out. If they're overworked, underpaid and generally tired of people asking them stuff that management hasn't told them about then they'll take the first possible excuse just to get you off the line.

Looking at this you are basically trying to find out if the call centre is just as clever or " clever as you are " !!! Which either of you are...

First of all, If you would foned about your problem you would of have said,

Where is the problem ? Even if you know, because they you can compare it with your answer and bring out a conclusions, as mentioned above , just don't give any answer, just questions first!!!

P-S That post made you just as ignorant as the support centre.

Itsnice, I take it you're one of the call centre people ? If not, try spending some more time reading through your posts and correcting the errors. Your post above doesn't make much sense with all the errors.

Just stick with it!

I have mywireless and runs fast...
I just wonder why all this crap going on...
Will this fix your service ? No!
Will someone who can fix your service will read it? No!
Does someone care? MMMhh... Think about it.

Just chill and think that itsnice...
