Ever since the blouberg tower went down at 12 am on the 22 Oct I've been receiving around 90kbps speeds. I finally sent an email to support with the tcpiq tests showing what looks like a capped amount of 92kbps. Even the local Sentech download speed test is only running at 57kbps.

This is the response I got from the support guys:
---------
Good Day

Please note that according to the speed test results that I
have been looking at it shows that you are still under
contention, your speed is fine. Please feel free to contact
us for further assistance

How can they say that 57kbps on their own network is FINE? You would have thought that with everyone leaving and with them wanting to trial 1Mbit speeds that they might be able to at least keep speeds over 150kbps. Currently my telkom dialup is running faster than the 256k "Broadband" from Sentech.

Their response should have read:

Good Day,

Please note that we hate you, and according to the speed test results that I
have been looking at it shows that our service is still cr@p. Please don't bother to call us for further assistance, we don't care.

Additionally - call your bank and cancel your debit order. Go with iBurst - they're much better.

Wow, thats almost the speed of dial-up. throw in some Sentech latency and im sure your surfing the same as back in 1995.

Their 1 mb/s service should be good. honestly, you'd actually think it would have got better now with the "abusers" off the network,

What's even more funny is that I can access all international sites except the tcpIQ site which records my speeds. What a joke. I know the site is up because when I use JAP to encrypt my traffic I can access it.
