Sentech: "We are ready today" [for 2010]

Mokone-Matabane, who did a presentation on Sentech's readiness for the 2010 Soccer World Cup, noted that SA already has adequate physical telecoms infrastructure, through contributions by Sentech, Telkom and Neotel.

“We are ready today, so the issue of being ready for 2010 does not arise,” she said.

According to telkom our infrastructure is not ready to give the small amount of ADSL users they have uncapped internet, but somehow we are ready to stream massive amounts of data that will be needed for the World Cup?

Just glad I could do my bit to help. Never thought that cancelling my My Wireless subscription was helping the nation.
