Sentech's new Capping idea on Classic package

I have personally seen a 512k account pushed to 121Gig in one month no BS. Believe me it's possible..... or at least it was.

Well if u ran at an average speed of jus less than 200kb/s u cud do that... And he was on a 512k account.

Im on a 256k account and i can do 40-50 gigs in a month easily. Upload can go as high as 70.

+1.There times when I used to hit 45G on 256k month after month, downloading stuff from DC++..yeah "stuff" :) .I have posted my NetMeter captures here before.
I cant see how one can't hit 80G on a 512k line. Also remember that's the total of uploads + downloads

A friend of mine on a 512k account recently got his first phonecall (and, naturally, went into orbit about it) as a result of having done 44GB one month and then over 60GB the next.

BULL****! 60GB in one month i.e 2GB per day i.e. > 83 MB ph.

I'm calling you a liar to your face!

You might BE the liar.

I'm still on contract on 128 package, is one allowed to exceed their cap only through p2p i.e. DC++ or normal dl from http i.e. rapidshare, etc.

on a 256k contract, its also possible to get about 60gigs a month, thats with the connection running 24/7

As ejbengine so wisely said - stuff :P

Upload and download together i do over 100 gigs a month... And dats not on all the time. I download torrents and speeds are generally pretty damn good.

I hav neva received one of these infamous phone calls and i regularly exceed the 20 gigs (i think) allocated to my account (256k). Unless torrents don't count - in that case i couldn care less if they added a cap.

LOL @ you guys, you're crapping all over a guy that made a BS statement 9 months ago and hasn't been to these forums in almost 4 months. All because PM resurrected this thread :D

ROTFLMAO :D ...it's just about letting out some steam :) ... what with these difficult Fraudband Days Of Our Lives! lol
