Series - do you nibble or pig-out ?

What's the general consensus -

eg. Fringe 5, Revenge 2, Homeland 2

Do you watch one a week or stockpile until half or all of the season is available to watch in one go ?
 
I usually get the whole series (or at least 5-6 episodes over the weeks) and watch all in one or two weekends when I'm able to - if not possible, then over a 1 month period ;)

With new series, always get at least 4 episodes before starting to watch...
 
Stockpile until the season finale is available to download:

Dexter
Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
Last Resort (until half of the season is available to download)

Watch a new episode when it comes out.

Fringe
The Walking Dead
Arrow
Revolution
Top Gear
Any comedy show
 
Agreed on sitcoms eg Big Bang Theory I watch when it comes out.

And I know I won't have the will-power to wait for the whole Arrow season.

SAME HERE!!!! :D :D :D It's soooooo goood! :) :) :) I hope it will keep getting better as the season goes on.
 
Recently watched:

Those who Kill (Danish, with English sub titles)
Bridge (same)
The Killing (same)
Varg Veum (Norwegian)
Braco (French)

Much better than most stuff on DSTV
 
Pig out especially if the series is good, although ill only watch it 6 months or so after the final episode.
Watched BB S5 over 3 days and now The Killing - I'll polish all 20 odd episodes in a week.
 
In general I watch them as they come out but some I'll stockpile to get me through the holiday season hiatus.
 
I hoard and watch them in one go. With so many good shows out, it's tricky to keep track of what's happening in each one if you have to watch them weekly.
 
Can't be definitive on this one - I would say in general prefer to stockpile and then watch one a day / a few a week. Because my stockpile is so big, I find that some series will go on the back burner.
Game of thrones - that watched ASAP!!
 
Depends if I have nothing to watch then I'll pig out on one of my stockpile series. I waited with breaking bad 5 but I'm watching all the new series every week : arrow, revolution, last resort... etc.

depends.
if I started it when it started I will watch it as it comes out (like dexter).
if not I wait till a season finishes before I start watching unless I am bored.

Yet we seemed to manage it before the internet… :whistle:
 
I stockpile the good dramas like Breaking Bad and Mad Men etc, and watch the comedies as they're out (except Community and Louie)

There's a difference though, we didn't have access to the volume of shows that we have access to now. It basically came down to whatever the SABC and Mnet wanted to show us, most of which was not worth watching. I can't speak for the rest of the world at the time though :)
