Serif WebPlus X7 / X8

Hey guys,

Has anyone had any experience using this software, I see X8 came out this week and am not so pleased to see the limited amount of changes.

Has anyone designed a website using this software, what are your thoughts.

I am busy buidling a site using X6. Will I be able to host the site on one of the South African hosting services? My site include a few databases (All SDL(Webplus built in database)).

Everywhere I read there is almost only support for MySQL.

Yes you will be able to host on a south african hosting platform, the software purely makes the website design and then you upload it via ftp to your host server.

I have been using X6, X7 and now X8. It is really easy to use and I host at Afrihost (4 websites). The new X8 is a improvement and has a lot of new features. Look at www.glassslipper.co.za and www.skankz.co.za. Both built by my wife (no formal IT training).
