I am setting up a lab at home to start studying.

My LAN with internet connection is on the 192.168.1.0 range.

I have a PC running Server 2012 R2.

The host is also on the 192.168.1.0 range and has an external virtual network adapter bound to the pysical onbord LAN card. Internet access is fine.

On the host, I am running 3 VM's all on the 10.0.0.0 range.

I need the VM's to have access to the internet.

I installed a VM as a router and added the internal virtual lan adapter to give it access to the other VM's. I also added an external virtual LAN adapter which gives it internet access. On this VM, the internal LAN IP has a static address of 10.0.0.2.
The external NIC has a static IP of 192.168.1.3 with gateway of 192.168.1.1 which is my modem.

My question is that my other VM's cannot access the internet by using 10.0.0.2 as the gateway address.

What am I doing wrong

OK,its working. just to impatient.
