I have an mweb 8Mbps Uncapped Adsl router! But i use telkom for our line and and mweb for our internet provider! I want to know why do i get at most 1.15 -1.50Mbps? Its so little and thats when im not downloading anything but when i download it can be come 0.50 or less Mbps! Why is it so slow? Also how do i change its dns server?

Why would you want to change your DNS servers? You're on a 8 megabit per second line. There are 8 bits in a byte meaning you will only be able to download at a max of 1 megabyte per second theoretically. As a rule of thumb just divide the speed of the package by 10 and then you should be getting that speed. ie You should be getting around 800kbps download so you're still doing okay. Where do you see the speed you're getting? speedtest.net also shows in bits so that should be showing your full 8mbps speed.

DNS - Google ; OpenDNS

Also how do i change its dns server?

In my D-Link modem/router, to change DNS settings, I go to Advanced - DNS - DNS (a sub-category).
Yours will possibly differ, so have a look around .....

I've put the following in, in this order (for no particular reason/s) :

8.8.4.4 (Google)
8.8.8.8 (Google)
208.67.220.220 (OpenDNS)

208.67.222.222 should also work - https://use.opendns.com/

Have you tried possibly to test with another ISP like VOX or Afrihost? to compare maybe it's the isp and not the line?
