Some plans exclude tyres, alignment and balancing as well as brake pads. All depends on the manufacturer

What do you pay for if your car is on a service plan?

Depends on which car you have. With Mercedes I think the first service is free, then second one you pay 10% of the service, 20% for the next and so on till it reaches 50%, after that it stays on 50%.

Remember you get a service plan and a maintenance plan.

maintenance plan should cover everything except tyres (balancing/wheel alignment etc)

mm regular engine service and maintenance* checks R2200. that includes labour aswell
