As the title, how do I set chrome to use google.co.za by default. It keeps using .com which doesn't include the country only filter.

Any ideas?

This has been taken out for sometime now and often even when forced to .co.za it will revert to .com

Article about it: https://www.blog.google/products/search/making-search-results-more-local-and-relevant/

The only I have had luck it by adding South Africa to the end of the search string and even then it's only partially been a success but better than not including it.

The second open which is normally default it.to make sure South Africa is the selected country in the bottom left of the search window.

.com simply doesn't yield the same results as .co.za even if South Africa is set as the country. On desktop if I open a search it still defaults to .co.za.

how is this done for the desktop browser.
i got it right once that the address bar searches google.co.za but then i lose prediction when partially typing a phrase.

I don't remember how I added it. But it always searches on..co.za.

I've looked under settings a million times and it never was there. Now suddenly .co.za has popped up as recently visited.
