Setring up VPN with Mikrotik Cap lite

Hi Guys.
I purchased a Mikrotik Caplite as i need vpn connection using ExpressVPN

At the moment i am using open vpn client on all my devices allowing me to download an expressvpn profile and import it into openvpn.

I am not sure bow i would go on doing this using the router. I Have even tried using pptp and it doesnt show the server location i connected to..ie..still shows my current isp when i run a speed test.

After entering my vpn details in the client section of the router do i still need to allow it through the firewall.

Please advice.

If i look under my l2tp status on my router. it shows the link is up but still gives me the rain info when i speed test. I Have the rain 5g which is connected to the mikrotik

You'll need to route all your traffic (0.0.0.0/0) via the VPN, and set a static route to the VPN server via your rain connection. Its a nasty solution, but its a quick solution

you need to tell the mikrotik to send all the traffic via your vpn, it doesnt do it automatically.
