Setting an IP adress on WP 7.5

Hi Guys,

I need to change my IP on my Omnia 7, so that not only can I connect to the wireless AP, but also surf the net (the AP is DHCP disabled).

I would try the diagnostic menu, but don't know what code to use.

Ja. Problem is, that's for the Omnia II.

Sadly, I don't think this is possible. I've just looked on my Omnia 7 now as well. Even when I'm connected to an AP, I can't change my assigned IP no matter what I try. If the AP is not boradcasting DHCP info, I don't think the phone will be able to connect.

Question: are you able to pick up the AP when you turn Wi-Fi on? I will try with my home router later and see what happens when I turn DHCP off.

Yip.
It sees the AP [broadcasting]. It tries to connect, but fails.

I also noticed that WIFI goes into a sleep state often.
Hmm, doesn't bother me, but its just a bit annoying.
