Setting Hylafax for Inernational Dialing

Hi,

I'm having a little difficulty getting Hylafax to dial International numbers.

Local works fine.

I have a feeling it must be blocked by some tellom jiggery-pokery. Has anyone been able to get it to work?

try dialling the number from your phone. If it works then the problem's with your fax, if not, check the number, especially the international format, you might have zero where you shouldn't.

I assume you are using 00 and not 09 for international prefix

International calls are probably blocked - get Telkom to enable it.

No, I can dial International numbers, but with the modem speaker turned up the phone goes to engaged after the second '0'.

In every case I get an engaged signal after the first '0'.

Sorry Gents; my bad.

I have just tried sending a fax from another phone line and it went through alright.

Must be something with that line....
