Greetings

Please can someone help. I am trying to set up MyWireless Modem to work through a wireless router. I have a D-Link DI-624M Router.
I have the cable and plugged it into my router's WAN port and have tried to connect using PPPoE.
Still no luck.
Is there a step by step guide to doing this. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
Can anyone help?

AFAIK, you need to first setup the modem with USB to set the user name and password. Once this setup is complete, you can set up via PPPoE.

NB: I'm not sure if this is still the case, my MyWi days ended in October 2004 and I know that there are newer modem versions.

This got sorted out :D - turns out that if/when putting data into the "service name" field, it'd better be *99#, else the modem ends up sending 'bad'/incorrect data to the tower, which promptly throws a hissy fit and rejects the connection attempt.

My service name field is empty, I think.
Like I said: "if/when" one does. For e.g: WaRTs with standard/stock firmware don't even HAVE a place for service name, yet work perfectly fine; it's only after, for e.g., flashing with alternate firmware that the service name field even shows up ..which one could continue to leave empty, or put in the correct data, as one likes.

I recently bought a Dlink router as well and currently having great difficulty with trying to set it up.
I've setup username, password and all other info, but all i get is errors and no connection. I've left the service name field blank and tried with *99#.
Anyone have any suggestions - am i not doing something correctly?
