Setting up a toll number

Hi

My sister is a dietitian. She often gets calls of people wanting (free) advice.

I was thinking a toll number would be a great way for her to recover some income. I had the following in mind :-
- number linked to a cell phone so that she doesn't have to be at the rooms when she takes the call
- some form of notification to the caller indicating the charges for the call.
- i imagine she would like to get R6-R8 per minute (R360-R480/hour)

I had a quick look but wasn't able to find much info on the web.

As far as i an awear these numbers were banned long ago, they were used for everything from horoscopes to sex chat lines, they caused havoc with peoples phone bills and im glad to see the back of them

Buy and inexpensive Samsung cell phone (+/- R 150) with a 8ta prepaid sim. For every 3 minutes of incoming call you get 1 free minute of outgoing call. I use it as my support line to my clients and have not needed to buy airtime for the past year

Hehehe, this reminds me. I call my wife from my work phone a few times a day.
I work for "the company everyone loves to hate" so they're not losing revenue when I call to 8ta. Win-win
