Hi Guys,

Has anyone set up Google Apps for Business recently.

Im mainly interested in the Gmail with personalised email address.

I have set everything up, but the problem is i am unable to recieve emails.

I dont currently have a personal website setup, so im unable to set up the MXRecords item that the instructions mention.

Is there anyway around this?

You have to own the domain you want to use as personalised proxy.

i.e. if you want to send mail to [email protected] you have to own / administrate the domain example.com.

There is no way around this: this is how mail works.

If you own the domain, then you will be required to add some records to the DNS of that domain that verifies your ownership to Google.

Only then will your mail be relayed and accepted by your Google Apps account.

[You don't need a website, just the domain (web address)]

As mentioned above, you need to have your own domain. You can buy one easily online with Afrihost or many other service providers without web hosting, just the domain.

Just register your own domain. It's super cheap.
