Hi everyone,

Last night I set this up since getting an Explora.

Currently I have my Explora connected to my primary TV,
I have my HD decoder connected to the DSTV switch and the Explora via LNB cables(3), and

I have an HDMI cable running from this (HD PVR) to my secondary TV.(1 m cable ), just to check if everything was working.

And it is. Both TV's display and what not.

Now I would like to mount the 2nd TV in the next room. What should I do next?

1) Run a 10 m HDMI cable from the decoder to the TV or
2) Is there any other way.

Sorry for the mess. Trying to get this done before exams. Using this as an excuse to procrastinate.

I woudl stay away from a long HDMI cable.
I would run the heartbeat and LNB cables to the next room and have the 2nd decoder there with the same short HDMI cable.

If you want to leave the decoder where it is or if you want to run it to more than 1 TV you can use HDIM - CAT5 adapters and run a CAT5 cable to the next room

Yes rather move the decoder than using a long HDMi cable. If you do not move the decoder, how would you change channels?

Cool, thanks guys. Will have a look at that. I thought a remote blaster would have been used if the decoder was in the other room.

Trying to keep the rooms minimalist look.
