Debit order means the company/person you are paying takes the funds from you, you can't do that over internet banking, you have to sign forms that gives them permission to debit your account.

What you can do is setup a recurring payment to someone and it will automatically pay them once every week/month or whatever you like. It will also email you before it pays them, pretty cool service.

Ahh, so im looking for recurring payment. See this is why I need to employ someone and pay them to do it. I am however not letting anyone into my account :P

No, you can do it yourself very easily.

  1. Log on to SBSA Internet Banking
  2. Go to <Payments & Transfers>
  3. Go to <Repeat Payments>
  4. Select Beneficiary
  5. Enter an amount, click <Continue>
  6. Choose the date / day of the month, and number of occurrences
  7. Complete and confirm

No need to pay anyone to do it for you, or give him access to your account. It seems to be a bit trickier to change an existing future payment, but follow the "destructions" and you should be fine. Use the <Manage Payments> option to make changes.

No doubt other banks offer similar facilities

Hope that helps.
