Setup Advice Needed

Have a HD PVR 4 tuner.
Now added three more tvs each in a bedroom.

Do not want to pay another monthly installment.

Will be able to purchase another decoder and remote blasters or links if i have to.

What setup can i do if i want to make as many rooms with their own view as possible then?

Is it possible to have 4 different viewing environments with my allowance at all?

No.

We've been over this before Gerrit, rephrasing the question won't change the answer.
You need to stop trying to sell impossible solutions to your potential clients.
 
HD PVR (Older 4 tuner) is one view two record ... thats all. Each bedroom will see that one channel only. Only option is to try find a SD PVR for the bedrooms, run extraview for it. Still only gives you 2 additional view channels, but in total there would be 3 with the HD PVR.
 
Well i just want to inform you i was not selling any impossible solutions to anyone ok?
Second i have been very successful with my installations and all.

All i wanted was to hear what the closest installation there is next to the one where you do a double extraview setup.

The guy does not want to pay two decoder subscriptions every month and i am trying to help him get a way which is closest to what he wants.

Huh ??? double extraview ??

HD PVR is already a premium service, the extraview is free for it... as far as I know u can only extraview one additional decoder ?!?
 
By that i meant you purchase three more 1131 model decoders. Do an extraview with the HD PVR and one 1131 decoder. Activate that in the husbands name. Then do another extraview setup with the other two 1131 decoders. Then register then register that extraview in the name of his wife then. Just want to make sure with mc if this will be ok.

But anyway he does not want to pay two subscriptions so no need for bothering about this.

extra view only allows 2 decoders to be linked to gether no more.
If he wants 4 diferent viewing enviroments curently thats not possible, the closest you can get is 3 (if he links a sd pvr to his hd pvr)
if he wants more he must shell out for an extra subscription -
 
Finally someone else starts seeing it the way I did after its 2nd or 3rd thread asking for "advice"
 
But he has said he's been successful with installations, he has a good procedure though:
Client: Can I do X, Y & Z
Gerrit: Let me get back to you, just need to check on MyBB & the DSTV forums

Eventually he gets info & goes to do the install but it doesn't work as was the case last week then its:
Gerrit: oh cr@p, that doesn't work & these damn guys on the forums haven't replied to me yet, I'll be back tomorrow
 
Gerrit, you also sent me a PM about this. I told you what you need to do. There is no way to get 4 environments on a single subscription. As mentioned above, please stop starting new threads about the same thing. I don't think anyone on this forum is willing to help you anymore... If this continues, we will need to get the mods involved.

Ok let me just put something straight, i had no "mentor" to teach me ok. We had a flood here early this year which caused us to loose alot of our grapes and income for the coming year.
I have to go out of my home, i had to find something else to do, had a little bit of background in dstv and decided i am gonna give this a go.
So far i have done quite well and have a very good amount of referrals.
I am not trying to brag or anything, what i mean is i am just trying to make a way for myself why cant you just if i make a new thread and do not want to reply just do not reply. If you do not have anything to say that could help me just do not reply at all.
The reason i make a thread is because i like interacting with installers or people who have good knowledge in the field. Instead of making remark after remark why not find in yourselves something good to say, i have used some advice you have given me on this forum and it worked an i want to thank you! But as you can see i have not been here for very long and it shows you i have build my knowledge through the help of you guys!
And i very thankful for every moment you all had put into helping me and helping someone else never goes to waste it will always come back to you and in so many more ways then what you have given!
Some little advice when someone asks of you whether it be money, of your time ect always do the effort to give what they seek for you never know what gift or many gifts you will get in return from others! For what you give in this world always comes back to you in some way or another always!

Ok the real issue is the type of remote i need to buy for this 3rd TV in the bedroom? And on what tuning it should function?

If i could figure that out now it will just be better. Probably 2D blue.

if its just for the dstv any dstv remote is fine preferbely the newwer ones that come with the ability to pick which chanel you want to change
