SF4 et.c + 4mb/s line?

hey all,

i've got street fighter 4 at the moment and running a dsl home connection. i'm seriously considering upgrading to a 4mb/s line if it will enhance my online experience considerably.

at this point i'm getting between 400 and 800ms in WoW and when trying to play SF4 online i can only do so at certain times, and then my connection is yellow to other users so still hard to find a game

does anyone own a 4mb/s dsl line (using unshaped) ? can you tell me what kinda latency improvements i'll see in WoW and games like SF4 which demands pretty low latency.

Larger bandwidth will only help slightly. Latency really depends on distance to the server and back. Normal international sessions will run about 400-600ms at best.

Well dude i play international on a console and i used to have a 512Kbps line upgraded to 4 MB line and seems to be better much better and its not a lot of extra cost to upgrade ayway dont know about WoW or pc but for me i can chat while playing COD and still get good kills in ?? so yeah i use unshaped account and a 4Mb line works wonders for me

well i always play vs this mate of mine and we've been SF rivals since part 2 ... problem is he works in IT and can play SF4 online at work and gets tons of practice and then totally pwns the crap out of me when we vs each other at my place or his.

so ye it's worth paying extra bucks on a faster line if it means leveling the playing field again -.-
