Possible to manual focus at all ... Even with an app?

Read that Camera360 has manual focus. Haven't tried it myself.

Camera360 does. It is not really that amazing on my SII, (the manual focus) but better than the default camera.

Just tap a space on the screen you want to focus on, ie the background, the foreground, or that tree on the right etc. a square pops over the item and it focuses on that.
