SGS i9000 Screen rotation

So the wife's screen rotation doesn't work. Tired the rotation on the drop down and under settings but no joy.

Any suggestions or solutions?

Which ROM are you running? I had the same problem on mine when I was still on stock 2.3.3. I solved it by a simple battery pull but I'm sure you've tried that already.

Only solution was to back-up everything and do a factory reset - luckily it worked.

Must have been a update or app that caused the bug.
