Shader question

Hey there,

I know this is about a game however it seems more h/w related

Lineage 2 patch updated Gfix ingame along with new gfix options...
One i dont know is Shader Type :

None
Glow Effect : A
Glow Effect : B
HDR Rendering A
HDR Rendering B
HDR Rendering C

What on earth option do i take above out of list to make best quality graphics? Each one looks different but i cant tell which is supposed to be best?

Depends on ur GPU, has to be pretty good to take on HDR... Try all of them. If ur GPU can't take it then it will just disable the option.

XFX 6800 GS that echo pushed up to 515mhz GPU

Would HDR C be the high end?

well HDR has nothing to do with clock speeds... U would need a nvidia 7800 or ati 1800-1900 to take the best HDR... But yeah i don't have a 6000 or 7000 series so i donno.

HDR A and B make gfix look really funky and colorful

C looks normal..like it has AA Maxed

That explains it....Using HDR A...HDR C is too bright. Works great.
Cant turn on AA with it on though

Yeah there is no support yet for HDR + AA
