Convicted fraudster Schabir Shaik, whose parole on medical grounds has become the centre of mounting controversy, was not certified terminally ill by doctors in charge of his care at Durban's Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital.

Would some ANC supporter please try to explain this?

Its has taken the ANC just 15 years to undo what all the good and righteous leaders of the party took over 80 years to build. The party is rotten from top to bottom, the liberators and true freedom fighters dead or forgotten and Freedom Charter shelved in favour of power and money.

I hope you're proud!

They can't explain this....

Shaik needs to be barreled up into the nearest police van and taken back to prison... and all the people involved in him getting a fraudulent medical parole should also be put into prison for trying to get a convicted criminal released under false pretenses.

Well, maybe prison is a bit harsh but I definitely reckon they should never be allowed to practice medicine again; a good life lesson for Dr S Mbanjwa, who would have only recently qualified as a doctor.

TBH, I'm over leniency when it comes to things like this... ppl involved in this kind of corruption should be thrown away in the worst prisons this country has. They're a big part of the reason this country is falling apart because they give in to the graft and corruption perpetrated by the ANC

I am not a fan of the death penalty, but having it is definately a deterrant. Not having it, is another Big Reason.

but this is the rainbow sparkling SA where criminals can walk free.

This is tantamount to a crime being committed in broad daylight in front of a policeman. Shabir did not get out of prison honestly. He lied and cheated and evidently be has bribed someone or people along the way. No one touches him.

Someone please call Sean Connery so he can make a sequel to The Untouchables. Only this time its for criminals and corrupt circus officials who win EVERYTIME! Oh but they can becuse they can claim the moral highground blaming apartheid for their deficiencies.

I can explain it, we are all racists and anti-revolutionary

Yes, we are not peaceful, loving, fair South Africans. That are calling a spade a spade in the current government, not the general race. Because that what it comes down to. One just wants a government that leads its people in a free and fair manner. Not in the current form where some are more inportant and precious than others. Im pretty sure a piece of paper called the constitution put that into writing somewhere.
