Shaky hands

@Ghost64 so was it some that affected your mental capacity that you keep forgetting to tell us how you got the pills?

So for the past 9 months or so I’ve had shaky hands, they just shake sometimes, totally involuntary.
It comes and goes but becoming more prevalent now. Even when making a cup of coffee when it’s most noticeable.

Haven’t bothered to have it checked out. Scared of doctors.
Anyone experienced such a thing?
Not old age, still in my 30s.
I take Omez 20mg daily for my stomach ulcer. I was also battling with hand tremors until I did some research and found out the the active ingredient in Omez blocks the uptake of B12. So I take a Vit B complex at night and Omez in the morning. This has solved the tremors.

Don’t use any meds.

Side effects of Inderal is alopecia!
Wtf, now what!?

Thats rare. If its what I'm thinking then that would be the right drug. You have a family history of parkinson's ?
Did you have covid within a period of 12 months ?

10mg a day wont do much.

Nope, no Parkinson’s or epilepsy or covid(that I’m aware of).
Won’t do much to help or won’t cause my hair to fall out?

Both. You really should do this via your GP. Usually you take 10mg a day for a week or 2 if theres no response then you do twice day then three times a then go 20mg twice day and so on and so on. Dont jump the gun because you can faint with jumping to high doses and you can also have an issue if you abruptly stop it.

However being a beta blocker it will affect your blood pressure. Its normal for involuntary minor tremors but if its progressing thats concerning especially if its happening without you being aware. Better double check that family history check with your parents if any of your aunts and uncles had it. Doesnt mean you have parkinsons but generally those who have history of parkinsons and/or anxiety disorders generally suffer from this type of thing.

Could also be because you conscious of the tremors it might be making it worse. Try to ignore it

Never had anxiety in my adult life...
BP is good I check every month or whenever I see the machine out.
I’ve tried to ignore it, hoping to find the trigger whether external or dietary but can’t seem to figure it out. But as someone else mentioned here, it’s the utensils, using knives, forks and spoons.
With remotes, smoking, writing or typing there’s nothing.

you can have anxiety and not be conscious about it, strange huh. Have you considered a muscular issue damage of any kind ? is it affecting both hands equally ?

its definately not something you eating. Unless you drinking like 12 redbulls a day? are you ?

Any sleeping issues ?

You do heavy duty keyboard activity ? like a dev or something ? if so at what angle does your wrists sit when working ?

Doubt it’s anxiety.
Mostly right hand.
Only had like 10 Red Bull’s in my life (not in one go lol)
Sleep a good 7 hours, try for 8 but always 7.
Average keyboard usage use the mouse more.

Maybe consider a neurologist consultation if its really bothering you or affecting your lifestyle. The GP is going to ask you and tell you pretty much the same things I just did and prescribe propranolol.

If you dont want to start the propranolol as advised by your Dr, if it gets worse go for specialised diagnostics

I freaked out.. anyway.. ordinarily my hands don’t shake.
Physiological manifestations from psychological effects in response to the worldwide Facebook/Instagram downtime vary from person to person. Some are a bit more affected than others...
