I might be wrong, but I thought the point of shaping our internet bandwidth was for giving certian protocols priority? And this was done purely because of our lack of available bandwidth... So now we have a whole new pipe up the east coast of africa, which is supposed to deliver 10 times the bandwidth we used to have (yes, its not running at full capacity yet). But still my question is why are we still forced to have shaped connections?? Why cant ICASA set up proper regulations on this? This is just another way to squeeze extra blood from us = money making scheme = rip off!
