Shaped/Unshaped - Explain this plz...

I just did some testing and have 3 results which I have questions about.

Here are the results

PING WWW.GOOGLE.COM

Earlier, a ping from the shaped account gave me a 72.xxx. IP, so that was also kinda strange... but why is shaped getting me a better ping?

looks like a diff IP at the end. xx.xxx.xx.104 vs xx.xxx.xx.99

hmmm Both are Saix so they should do the same amount of Hops to the IP.

Perhaps the protocol isnt shaped or traffic is light so there is no need for shaping. Shaping is about prioritising.

Surely shaping wont play a part in ping results..? those packets wont be shaped...
