Today a memory that brings me joy is the reaction to a joke that I'd told my wife last week and her giggling about it all night. I love making her laugh.

A phone call from the vet to let me know the routine teeth cleaning went well but, more importantly, that our little canine companion is in excellent overall health for her age as shown by the blood tests they did before putting her under.

As she gets older and greyer we can’t help but wonder how long we have left with her and it’s good to know she is healthy and (presumably) happy.
