Share Traders

You mean the platform?
I use FNB Share Investor, but haven't been that active on it as of late.

EasyEquities if you don't need fancy tools and want cheap costs.
FNB Share Saver if you just want to invest into the Top40 and MidCap every month (by far the cheapest in the regard)
Standard Bank OST if you want the best tools but be ass raped with fees.
FNB's Share Trader if you are already with FNB
IG has an API available if you want to code your way into your portfolio.

Standard Bank OST won an award last year for being the best trading platform as voted by users.

I'm using Standard Bank OST and WebTrader for international securities.

I did, but another personal perspective wouldn't hurt.

Read the thread, will give you a better idea of the platform.. On OST you have the actual shares allocated to you at the JSE. On EE they are bought and housed with EE.
It is cheap and works well though.

Happy?
You a buy and hold kinda trader, or get a bit more involved?

I'm happy. Use both. Having alerts and a couple other niceties are worth the R60 odd. Usually make more than 3 trades a month so haven't paid a monthly fee as yet.

Used EE for a bit. It's an awesome platform for the price.

Very happy yes, considering I don't pay that much for their services. I'm a trend follower, I buy and hold for a couple of months.
