Share wireless laptops with network resources such as printers

Can the latest Wireless Access Point Routers with 4-Port Switches on the market (i.e. D-Link, Linksys, etc) all allow wireless laptops to not only get access to the internet BUT ALSO to share printers and other resources on fixed cable PC's linked to the 4 switch ports?

Are there any catches to look out for when buying one?

For all practical purposes a wifi link can do the same as a Cat5 link...only slower.
