Shared Connection XP & Win2k

AS stated in the other post I have my modem connected via PPPoE cable on a Win2k pc.

The problem is, and probably has nothing to do with either the USB or the PPPoE connection, I cannot access some sites on the WinXP pc that's connected to the Win2K pc via a switch. For instance www.standardbank.co.za will work on the Win2K pc with the modem connected to it, but it won't load on the WinXP pc. The same for www.msn.com. MSN doesn't connect either.

The Win2k pc is setup with normal Internet connection sharing and the othe prc is setup to automatically get IP.

Any pointers?

Check the MTU on both machines. Set them both to 1420 and try again. If its the same, set them back to what they were.

I recently moved the modem off the Smoothwall firewall and since then it's been fudged, but it's all working now.
