Hey there guys :)

Ok so this is what I want to do: I have a HP Compaq nc6320 laptop, an ADSL connection, and a Nokia 5800 with wi-fi. I want to use my Laptops built in Wi-fi modem to share the LAN connection with my phone. So in other words want to use my ADSL on my phone via the laptop's wifi.

I fiddled a little with the sharing tab in the Local Area Connection properties but couldn't get anything working. I am using Windows 7 BTW.

Can you guys help me out?

Once you've managed to setup the Ad-Hoc WiFi AP on your laptop, you can go ahead and search on how to use ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).
With ICS you would share your LAN connection (and if you get a dropdown listbox, select the WiFi connection).

If your wireless card supports AP mode, you might want to try out a program called Connectify
