Hi, I would like to share information with my clients which they can access via internet. It will be management reports or progress reports etc. But i want to be able to give a client "login details" and then he can access his files....

The data is not credit card info... but should also not easily be "hackable"...because of privacy concerns...

I would like these files to reside on my server pc.... What is the easiest method of doing this.... using a CMS or should I go with something else?

Thanks for any recommendations...

Citrix Sharefile

Google drive.

You can share files and folders with specific people and make others private.

Then of course the eternal dropbox.

We use a dropbox folder.
Every time you update the folder they get a prompt telling you there is new data.
Simple as.

ok, thanks for suggestions... I do use dropbox...but not everyone has dropbox installed...or wants to use the email link route..

You only link them to dropbox once.
If you use a folder it is on their desktop and it updates the contents when you update it on the dropbox.

Dropbox should do. Else you can setup Owncloud and have your own dedicated server. Owncloud is also available on some NAS devices as an app so there will be less configs to be done on your side , something like this which is also available locally
