Am I an idiot or is there no built in way to easily send images from one Samsung device to another other than Bluetooth or attaching it to a message of sorts.

Spent 15 minutes now with my wife to try figure out Quick Sharing and Send to Device, but Samsung's site gives no help.
I have a Note 9, wife has a Note 10.

Apple's airdrop is simple to use, and Samsung has no answer for it.

That's the wall I was constantly bumping up against. Airdrop within the apple ecosystem is seemingly unbeatable at this time.

It's ridiculous really, it seems like Quick Send is their answer to Airdrop but it only seems to be on newer devices.

Androids equivalent Nearby sharing is still in Beta ,
for now , if you want try using files by google to share

Working alternatives yes, but extra steps that aren't as quick as Airdrop.
True. I guess sending high quality images to another phone isn't high up on the list of priorities for most android users

That or we use Telegram. You can send images without compression. Added bonus is the desktop app.

Telegram ftw for file transfers. Although you are limited to just a measly 1.5Gb per file.

Reduces quality
Photos are not compressed in Telegram. You have to option to compress them, send them uncompressed or as a file.

Hey, have you tried wifi direct?
You can also try using the share large file option which generates a link for the other person to download the file.

As the person above said, the Google files app is quite easy to use, theres a tab for send and receive.

Like airdrop it uses Bluetooth to establish the connection and then uses wifi direct to transfer using an encrypted tunnel.
