Fantastic game ......... despite there not being many tries, it was good to see the young Sharks team start putting stuff together :) As for Lawrence ...... man, that was a disgusting display of reffing. How does he not apply the same law equally ...... lying on the ball - we get a yellow and the Bulls maybe get pinged. The same idiotic rubbish that Bakkies got banned for - bam, yellow card. High time this reffing gets looked at in a serious light

These quotes from an article on Keo say it all -

The opening period of the second half saw both sides failing to roll away from the breakdown, with referee Mark Lawrence giving a final warning.

quote]Keegan Daniel then sparked the Sharks when he turned over possession on the ground. The flanker got his hands on the ball again half a dozen phases later and off-loaded to Badenhorst who scored the game-breaking try. The replacement hooker’s short appearance ended two minutes later when he was yellow-carded for not rolling away.[/quote]

yet he only sends off Sharks for it, funny that hmmm ........

A couple of minutes later, Botes was shown yellow for using his shoulder in the tackle, with TV replays suggesting it was a harsh call.

it wasn't a harsh call .... it was just all in a days work for the [-]Bulls 16th man[/-] Ref ;)

SAPA report:
SHARKS scrumhalf Rory Kockott has been cited for an act contrary to good sportsmanship during his side‘s 19-13 win over the Blue Bulls in Durban on Friday.

Citing officer Andrew Prior cited Kockott for an offence of grinding/ rubbing/applying his knees to the face of Bulls lock Wilhelm Steenkamp in the 50th minute of the Absa Currie Cup match.

I've watched the match a few times and apart from where Rory had his leg across some guys face, due to being at the bottom of a ruck, the incident is missing. Same with Alberts transgression ......... so what exactly are these ****'s up to

Good luck to you. Think the cheetahs are wounded and are going to be tough nut to crack.

Playing the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein in the Currie Cup is never an easy fixture. It promises to be a great game of rugby!

/The Sharkies are going to freeze their cojones off tonight!

It's raining in Bloem; who will adjust better to the conditions?

Will we see an aimless kicking game?

We'll see in about 35 minutes time!!
