Sharks Supporters Thread

yeah it was a nothing, but his smile on the news last night was priceless like a child getting his christmas pressie!

No rugby this weekend for the Sharks :( so at least I don't have to stress about anything :) and I get a weekend off ;)

Cut that game close, yoh! Thank god for a damn good defence :D And well done to the Lions, wtf can't you play like that every week ffs

Another tight game. My nerves were frayed by the final hooter. Still it's a win and with a bonus point, so it keeps us in with a sniff?

Well done, Sharks! :D

Pity the poor Lions who must be wondering where there next win is going to come from. Eish!

Would you guys agree if I said the best thing to happen to us this season was the discovery of Pat Lambie? I mean I have always been a Terblance supporter. The guy is a legend, always has a cool head & can read the game better than anyone but this season he showed his age, making silly mistakes, not keeping the ball in hand & even now when moved into the role of center he still persists to show these flaws. Im not by any chance saying he should be given the boot, as that old phrase go's "form is temporary, class is permanent" but he needs to calm the ***** down when playing, his making to many rash decisions that cost us this season. if could have been the difference between nothing and 5 points. Lambie on the other hand is playing things by the book & adding a little something else to his game. He is brilliant under the high ball, makes good runs and because of his size he manages to slip past many players. I dont think he gets that much support from the other guys, he is quick so some of them are to slow to catch up with him, esp when he makes those runs. Anyways, lets hope Terblance kicks on soon, we need him too.

I agree about Lambie - one of the best selection choices in recent years - that kid has great potential. Good on Bashford!

But if Lambie is the best selection choice this season, then Goode at flyhalf has to be the worst - that man hasn't had a decent game since joining the Sharks. I'd send him on the first plane back to Europe - ash cloud or not...

lol, he had a good game for us while we were touring.

Heard Ruan could be out of Saturdays game with a knee niggle

That is very sad. He is just looking to get better and better every week.

Also I would love to see him vs Fourie.

See Mr Plumtree says Pienaar is better than Fourie ....

Pre-game hype. Carlos Spencer said he'd shake up the Lions' backline too...:D

ROFL :D

Yes but shame on Plumtree for teling such aall story:p

I seriously hope Pdivvy now picks Pienaar on the bench as a Scrummie that can cover fly-alf if the need is really there rather than a fly-half that can play scrummie.

Lambie & Petersen should be given a shot at number 15 for the Boks. They both young but I think they have the heart to do SA proud.

A season too early for Lambie. But I agree with Pietersen (I think he is back for the stormers after a hip injury).

Yeah, I didn't mean like right now for Tri-Nations etc. I just think that given the chance to join the training camps & a few minutes game time they will shine.

Lambie - yes, he reminds me of another Frans Steyn .... Pietersen - has never really impressed me, so pass.

Lambie is more like a Andre' Joubert than a Frans Steyn.
Steyn is in a class of its own.
