Ruan off to Ulster at the end of the year? & I see the Beeld had something about John Smit on Saturday, anyone read that article? something about him not being happy at the Sharks.

I just heard he is going to the lions to fill a leadership role (captain, coaching later, etc etc).
 
I can't find anything at all online about that .... links please or it only exists in lala land.

I'm having a braai and a LAN ..... no need to watch the game, will just catch the Breezers winning score at the end and move along.

Yeah, would be nice for you guys, guess you go the "at-least-we-beat-the-stormers-in-regular-season" route should the stormers win...
 
I find it strange that Glenwood,who have had a fairly good season.but have by no means looked invincible,have 19 players in the 3 teams selected for Craven Week.
Assuming that 3 or 4 players do not qualify for being over 18,this could mean that 7 or 8 players made it from the 2nd team.I saw Maritzburg College 2nds beat their 2nds quite easily.
Does anybody know the selection process.I hear that there are 8 "votes".of which Glenwood have 3 or 4.

I really don't feel it is a good representation.
We have always struggled at Craven Week,I perhaps we are not choosing our best players.

Any KZN School Supporters out there?
 
Sharks Forward think and Planning is Pathetic.

Firstly we had Stefan at FullBack with Pat Lambie coming thru-So we bring Louis Ludick
Then We have no Back Up plan for Hernadez-Other than the very average Steve Meyer.
We still couldn't decide if Ruan was a 9 or 10
We really had very little quality depth at Center,evem thpough we had 2 young talented centres who werent given any bench time or anything.(Stemmet and Lindeque)

Don't the Geniuses upstairs remember how Dick threw in Ruan Pienaar,Frans Steyn,Kankowski etc as 19 or 20 year olds .If we had done.say 2 a year we would have had much more depth.We now have to blood a couple more than we should normally.We will also have to buy.
Now we are looking at Andre Pretorius.WHAT Forward thinking?
The Stormers built 80% of a team and Then bought Fourie and Habana.Thats good buying.But we look at Steve Meyer,Goode<pretorius etc.

What a Joke.

As I was saying in that other patch of mud, I think Willem De Waal would be the best thing the Sharks could import right now. WP aren't using him and I'm pretty sure he isn't enjoying the bench all that much while Peter Grant takes all the glory.

Will be very glad to see the back side of Pienaar (nepotism's biggest blemish in SA Rugby today).

So let me get this straight... you are asserting that Pienaar only got into Sharks rugby because of his father?

Unless of course I have it all wrong and by referring to showing an interest in seeing his backside you are actually referring to your sexual preferences?
 
Huh? Pienaar is a døøs who only gets to play 1st class rugby because of his dad. Does that make it clear enough for you?
