Hi

Someone at gym knocked my phone ( I don't know who). The screen cracked a little. Last night I dropped it, and without the structural integrity it once had, the whole screen shattered. It's just the glass lens.

I found this on amazon. < http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Faceplate-Display-included/dp/B006MQGYDI/ref=pd_cp_cps_2 > Should I buy it?
I'm really good at following instructions, so if there is a guide to fixing it I will be able to fix it no problem. Can anyone help with such a guide, has it happened to anyone else?

Thanks guys.

Hi

I have actually had to replace my Galaxy S2 LCD a while ago, are you sure its the gorilla glass that's cracked and not the LCD behind, i'm asking because in my case (after driving over my S2) the outer glass layer was fine but the LCD attached behind cracked which meant i needed the entire digitizer assembly.

I managed to find an original on bid or buy for a reasonable price and attempted the repair myself, with the help of some Youtube instructional videos.

I will tell you that it is not an easy task as the entire motherboard and slave boards connected is actually attached to the LCD assembly which basically means you need to take your phone apart piece by piece and re-assemble it onto the new phone. Not a task to be taken lightly.
