I noticed that, amongst myself, several other members sit with the problem that a significant amount of bandwidth is chewed every month on Microsoft product updates.
How about iBurst hosting the updates for all its members (for all Microsoft OS's and products generally used), and for a fixed subscription fee (lets say R50/month) in addition to the normal subscription iBurst would enable your user account to be able to access those updates without deducting it from your cap. Ie that particular traffic gets routed differently and would thus not deduct from your bandwidth.
iBurst could even make this "update" service available between say 10pm and 6am, so that it does not interfere with us playing COD4

and other users/businesses surfing the net and working during peak hours. All we need to do is leave our PC's on at night and the updates happen quick and at reasonable costs to everyone.
The R50/month should be determined by iBurst to make it a viable business case for itself, whilst keeping it attractive to its subscribers.
Before I email Shaun and his team with the suggestion on paper, can I get opinions from fellow users on this please?
Or is this a k@k idea?
Cheers Rudi
