For the guys who asked to keep them up to date, after three years, I asked the missus to marry me and she said yes! :D
It sort of feels unreal still but I'm sure it'll kick in properly soon.

Congratulations.

Although after being together for 3 years I doubt the shock will be that great as it would have been otherwise.

congratulations are definitely in order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and hope and pray that from now on till the end you still feel as awestruck as you do now with your wife to be!!!! :)

Congrats dude I got engaged last year after 5 years dating, was great. Now weddings comming up in November and the fear is setting in. 51% awesome 49% ball & chain.

Dude, awesomeness. Last 3 weddings I've been too had awesome cake (not the normal **** I was used to growing up with old fogies getting married)

Just don't get her pregnant beforehand. You'd want to have the post-wedding fights out the way before any children arrive

Her dad's pretty minted, so I'll make sure that we have nice cake on the wedding! ;)
Thanks again for all the wishes guys, much appreciated.
The wedding will have to wait a bit as she's still busy with studying medicine and I don't want to add the stresses of wifehood to her already stressed life. As soon as she's done, we'll tie the knot and move to Cape Town.
As for eloping to Mauritius: I'm way too scared of the sun!
