Shell's seismic survey ship leaving SA's coast

The vessel hired by Royal Dutch Shell Plc to look for potential oil and gas fields is on course to leave South African waters after community groups won a court case to temporarily halt the activity.

A judge on Dec. 28 granted local activists an interim interdict blocking any seismic surveys until a ruling can be made on whether further environmental authorization is required.

What is the one thing that might have an outside chance of providing enough money to let this country survive and maybe even prosper....a massive hydrocarbon discovery and working it to the full...nothing else could even come close.

They had 3 or 4 supporting ships as well. I'm guessing for security and other reasons. This was indeed a very costly exercise.

The problem with this whole survey is the secrecy behind it and the ANC involvement......I would trust a hyena more than the ANC when it comes to integrity......

Some ANC supporters were making small noises on my bus ride. They not proudly wearing their ANC t-shirts anymore. In fact not even any beads or necklace's or anything with ANC colours. But they talk about the ANC in Xhosa which I understand. None of them condemns anything the ANC has done...they just shake their heads and that's it.

Awaiting the MyCadre bunch to tell me I'm talking ****. The same clowns that claim to know better than me.

Prove me wrong than and climb on a bus for 8 or 9 hrs. And pay attention to what you hear.
