Shengen Visa - How to?

We planning on traveling to Spain in August, and need to get my Shengen sorted.
The last time i did it was in 2015, so cant remember the process

Could someone give some guidance on it? Maybe routes they used?

Do VFS offer services for Spain?
Anyway it's pretty straightforward, find the service that do the Spain visas and follow the process, the normal stuff - flights, hotels, proof of funds, travel insurance, and you should be sorted.

Just returned from Germany.

I used this place: https://de.tlscontact.com/

Once all your docs are in order, you need to make an appointment and submit everything printed to them in person and do biometrics.

Covid Vaccination certificate is not on their document list, but the first thing they ask for when you get there. So be sure to print it out.

Visa Costs about R1900 depending on Exchange rates, and I got my passport back with a Visa about 4 days later by courier

I'm going to the Netherlands in September. Going to apply for my shenghen visa in July. I just wanted to know what bank balance is favorable for the visa to be accepted. Someone said I need to have a R100k in my account to be accepted.

Is this true. Thanks

I recently renewed mine, but I was visiting France, so I used https://france-visas.gouv.fr/web/france-visas/ and Capago https://fr-za.capago.eu/
So I suggest calling the Spanish consulate and asking them for the correct site for Spain.

Mine was about 3K, but I paid extra for VIP service.
