I know this is hardware and gadgets but asking here is appropriate because someone might know.

What is the cheapest way to ship from Centurion to Durban. Insured...

The package weighs 1.8kg with dimensions 250mm X 100mm X 380mm.

I tried speed services but the basterds wanted R130 without insurance for counter to door.

Any input appreciated!

That seems fair, postnet is R90 counter to counter according to their adds

That's not really expensive.

SAPO charges R65 for a <1kg package that is about that size.

Hmm, so what if the package is >1kg? I thought speed services = SAPO?

Can a SAPO delivery be insured?

Hmm, it could be Speed Services. They don't freight under their own name. Yes they do have an insurance option.

Courier guy is about the cheaper i know of. Although 130 from here to durbs is not bad but phone the courier and see what they reckon.
