So I'm setting up an e-commerce site.
I still haven't decided between Prestashop and WooCommerce, but I don't want that to be the focus of the conversation.
I have very little knowledge about how to set up shipping for the website.
I'm struggling to decide which shipping carrier to use, so far the options I've looked at are
uAfrica - Has a Woo addon, but don't seem to support Presta
Pargo - Supports Woo and Presta
Dawn Wing
Fastway
TCG
So on top of the decision of which carrier to use, I'm actually clueless about how the whole process works behind the scenes.
If I use uAfrica or Pargo, with their addon, will they automatically be notified when I have someone place and order and they send someone to come collect it from me? Or do I go at the end of each day to drop off my orders, or how does that side of the process work?
And then for the solutions without supporting addons, I suppose it might be slightly different?
So, I'm wondering if someone can give advice about how the back end process of this works, as well as a discussion about the various options.
