Hi I have a monthly 300gig x2 account with this company. Recently their service has degraded.. Being shapped, and they are restricting access to certain sites. I do not torrent or download mainly for paid streaming and Internet browsing with mail. It's a nightmare to call their support line since no one answers even on email.

I need to leave ASAP.. Can anyone recommend a better service?
 
I got the same package from axxess just so I can check what websites are being blocked?

Also what is getting shaped?

I'm all for jumping ship if an ISP is doing something wrong but gotta check first.

Can't comment on blocked websites but speed is up to !?* on axxess capped this afternoon. Just moved to a webafrica capped account and it's flying by comparison.
 
For 2 years on 20Mb I managed to get the expected VDSL throughput with Axxess until now. Telkom engineer confirmed that the line is fine (Sync at 20 and had been doing so for 2 years).

Using speedtest-cli on linux:

Also had issues with Axxess this month..

My dsl line combo just disappeared from my account and when I called about this, it was a mistake made by their account's department and they still haven't fixed this issue (almost 5 days now). Then recently, I was throttled from 10Mb to 7 Mb and now down to 3 Mb all of a sudden for no reason, even Telkom told me they don't know what's going on there..

Support desk immediately closes tickets giving you very short answers that most of the time does not resolve anything. Such a shame, thought they were going to be a solid ISP in the long run.
