after watching glorious gale, seeing the west indies do what they did was shocking


west indies man o man, words cannot describe the horror watching them field


WD SA, murdered the west indies, did not even break a sweat
 
add 27? runs to the score and u can see how they screwed up. Even then it would have been Sa's way

Problem with that is yes its 27 runs extra + 27 balls extra, i wonder how many runs was scored off that extra balls.
 
not that much.. remember the bad wides were all going down leg side so u can't even say it would have been a good ball. I mean off the wides bowled there was either 0 or one run scored.
 
they must make a stat for cricket considering they have a stats for everything

every extra ball and how much is score off said ball

im sure 50 runs last night :)
 
three games today, i think twenty20 is going to be quite enjoyable.

27 balls = 4.3 overs extra.... Pathetic from the Windies I can expect that under pressure but after that first 2 overs they lost it!

Bad captaincy from Sarwan I think SA scored 50 runs in the fine leg boudary alone!!

I wasnt expecting much from the Windies, Gayle made that game an opening match to remember!!
 
yip everything went for a ball of shyte the minute the he went out

i think we are going to see 300 or more when the big teams play the little okes

i dont think 15 an over against a team like kenya would be to hard

i think if did not win yesterday we could have hit another 40-50 runs
 
There was not 27 extra balls bowled. There was 1 no ball and some of those wide balls went for 4 which then counts as 5 wides (think it happened at least twice) so that would be around 16 extra balls?

Oh yes lol forgot about that. There was still alot of wides! Even the commentators gave up commentating about it.

Felt sorry for Gayle at the end. Must be sad to do so well and then the team just throws away everything he did!

Atleast he has a few records and the man of the match award.

The Windies aslo broke their own record for most extras in a Twenty 20 match. I wonder if they will be able to even better that during the course of this World Cup?:rolleyes:
 
WI messed up a good chance. Something wrong with there head when it comes to pressure situations. If they didn't bowl all those wides and drop those catches plus they should've scored another 20 runs easily in the end then the result might have been very different.
SA bowlers didn't bowl well at all. Hopefully they won't have to face Aus or SL anytime soon. They need a good spinner.
