Shoe whores

Just a follow up on this.

After my email, the marketing manager called me to have a chat. I expressed my disappointment. He assured me that the sneakers are made from genuine buffalo leather and coated for water resistance.

According to him it appears that incorrect labels were stitched onto my tongues (they do sell other sneakers called brooklyn) and i can believe it because one sneaker says brooklyn and another says buffalo vellies. go figure... also the boxes that they came in were labeled incorrectly as WMNS - so this is pointing to poor QC on their side overall.
He told me that the the leather is indian buffalo leather. for what its worth

He also got the product director to call me and email me confirmation that the shoes are indeed made from genuine buffalo leather and are coated for water resitance.

i've been wearing them now for the 2nd week in a row and can confirm that they do wear like leather and not synthetic. (leather wrinkles and synthetic tends to crack - if u know u know)

if anything turns out otherwise ive been given a guarantee of a full refund.

props to hi-tech for getting high level guys to call me, apologise and explain and not giving me standard call centre responses over email.

in the end it seems that it was a QC issue and not the product itself.

You guys seem King's children.

I have one shoe that I wear everywhere, including office on one day a week if at all I go to office.

Once that shoe wears out, I will buy another one. Oh yeah - I have tennis shoes that I started using only last saturday. I have 5-6 formal shoes but no more use them after work from home started.
