Shopping Cart / Simple CMS

Thanks in advance for any responses.

My step mother has written a book that is selling quite well in book stores, but she wants to create a website to market it a bit, and market / accept payment for conferences etc.

I assume a CMS - with some webstore plugin will work, I however have no time to set it up for her.

I would like to ask for either
a) Any recommendations on the best company / person / other to use?
b) Anyone here any good at this?
c) I know the pyramid for IT software is cheap / fast / good - pick 2. What would a reasonable setup be for a smallish website.

I apologise for the sparse details, but would like to give her the best setup without being ripped off.....

When people ask me, I usually suggest:

if you want something really simple but nice looking.

My wife uses the Lite package for her website, and did it all herself in a couple of hours. You need the Standard package for the shopping cart, so I am not sure how that part looks.
